Many businesses, courts, and public entities have frontline employees screening people upon entry, especially with mask mandates during COVID-19. Those employees normally experience compliance, however, some of the clients with reluctance. Some have met extreme defiance, have been injured, and some even killed.
The purpose of this course is to give tools to our frontline workers for peaceful interactions and how to respond to those whom are noncompliant. When an encounter escalates, what are the employee safeguards and options to avoid becoming a victim? There are verbal mechanisms, as well as physical stances, that should be available to our workers. The tools can be utilized not only in the workplace but also in everyday confrontational encounters.
